About Us
Wilkes Heritage Museum, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1968. The Wilkes Heritage Museum, Inc. is responsible for operating and maintaining the Old Wilkes Jail (c. 1859), Robert Cleveland Log Home (c. 1779), and the Wilkes Heritage Museum (former Wilkes County Courthouse, c. 1902).
Wilkes Heritage Museum Gift Shop
Our gift shop is located inside the museum. You do not need to purchase a museum ticket in order to visit our gift shop. Museum members recieve a discount on all gift shop purchases. Come visit us and browse through our books, music cds, local items, and gifts.
Online Shopping
We have a large selection of historical books, heritage music cds, local products, and many other gifts. If you can't visit us in person, shop with us online.
