THE BLUE RIDGE MUSIC HALL OF FAME

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame is a component of the Wilkes Heritage
Museum and exists to showcase and preserve the rich musical heritage of
the greater Blue Ridge Mountains area.  The Hall of Fame educates,
defines and interprets the history of music from the region with exhibits
and an annual celebration of inductees.  The Hall of Fame is a key means
of fundraising for the Wilkes Heritage Museum, as we strive to preserve
the artifacts and history of the area for future generations to enjoy.
