Candelight Ghost Tour Cancellation Policy

Should a scheduled tour be cancelled, notice will be posted on the Facebook page and on our website. However, cancellations hours prior to tour time (usually due to weather conditions) may not get posted in time. We appologize for any inconvience this may cause.

Candlelight Ghost Tours is located in Wilkesboro, North Carolina at the foot of the Blueridge Mountains. Folkore and ghost tales abound in this area, passed down from one generation to the next. Join us and walk amid the history of a proud mountian peoples as we regale you with stories of the past - well, maybe some folks aren't as "past" as we'd think. You might just hear the footsteps of the long dead Tom Dooley in the jail cell he once occupied or you might spy the earthbound spirit of the little girl killed by runaway horses. It's all here, just waiting for you.

The Candlelight Ghost Tours are owned and operated by Wilkes Heritage Museum.

Tour Location, Times and Prices

Tours are held one Saturday a month from April through October (Check Events Calendar for monthly dates.)
Tour Times Begin At: 7:30pm, 8:00pm, 8:30pm & 9:00pm.
Tours last approximately 90 minutes and require walking. Wear comfortable shoes.
Cost - $7.00 per person (children 5 and under are free) - tickets sold only at the door. No online tickets are available. No reservations necessary.

Bring your cameras on the tours! You never know what you might just catch in your photos. If you have an interesting "ghost" picture, feel free to post it on our Facebook page. We reserve the right to delete any pictures we find inappropriate for our site.
